Overview
Safety Awareness Day is a beginner-friendly educational programme designed to promote public awareness of firearm safety, responsible handling principles and regulated shooting-range safety procedures.
The programme is suitable for individuals who are new to shooting sports, interested in learning about recreational shooting as a regulated sport in Malaysia, or seeking to develop a strong safety-first mindset.
Participants will learn through classroom instruction, instructor-led demonstrations and structured safety exercises conducted in a controlled and professional training environment under the supervision of qualified instructors.
The programme also introduces participants to the club’s safety standards, facilities and professional training approach, while promoting a better understanding of responsible firearm ownership and the applicable legal framework in Malaysia.
Who Should Attend
This programme is suitable for:
- Members of the general public aged 18 years and above
- Individuals with no prior experience who wish to learn firearm safety fundamentals
- Students aged 18 years and above
- Corporate groups seeking safety-awareness training
- Security personnel seeking a safety refresher
- Licensed firearm owners seeking a refresher on safety principles
No prior experience is required. This programme is intended for educational and safety-awareness purposes.
Registration Requirements
Participants must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Present their original MyKad or passport for identity verification
- Complete all required registration forms before the programme
- Declare any medical or health condition that may affect their ability to participate safely
- Not be legally prohibited from participating in firearm-related activities
- Comply with all applicable Malaysian laws, regulations and facility requirements
Participation remains subject to verification and approval by the organiser.

The programme includes classroom instruction, instructor-led demonstrations, interactive safety exercises, a refreshment break and a certificate presentation. The sequence and duration of individual activities may vary based on operational and safety requirements.
Important Notices
A mandatory safety briefing will be conducted before any demonstration or practical safety exercise.
All training and safety equipment required for the programme will be provided by the organiser. Participants are not required to bring personal equipment.
Participants must comply with all instructor commands, safety rules and facility procedures throughout the programme. Any participant who displays unsafe behaviour, fails to follow instructions or creates a safety risk may be removed from the programme without a refund.
Required safety equipment must be worn whenever instructed by the training staff.

The programme is conducted at an indoor training facility and will proceed regardless of weather conditions. On-site parking is available.
Language
The programme will be conducted in English and Bahasa Malaysia to support a clear understanding of all safety concepts and instructions.
Certification
Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive a Certificate of Participation in Safety Awareness Training.
Registration and Payment Information
Seats are limited for each session. Registration is confirmed only after successful payment and submission of all required documents.
Participants must arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled starting time for identity verification and registration.
The original MyKad or passport must be presented upon arrival. Sessions commence promptly at 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
Late participants may only be admitted after completing the mandatory safety briefing. Where this is not operationally possible, the participant may be transferred to the next available session, subject to availability and the organiser’s approval.
All registrations are final. No refunds will be provided for cancellations, late arrivals, non-attendance or removal resulting from a failure to comply with safety instructions.
